Toora Primary School is a small rural school located 187 kilometre south-east of Melbourne and set in the picturesque hills of South Gippsland , Victoria , Australia . Wilson's Promontory National Park is across the inlet and the rolling hills of the Strezlecki Range provide beautiful views and inspiration making our school a great place to be. The school was established in 1888, we have since had a complete rebuild on the adjacent oval on Harriet Street, we commenced the 2010 school year in the new building. There are approximately 60 students in the school, with a rich balance of rural farming and township residence families. At Toora Primary School we offer Grades Prep to 6. There are 3 full time class teachers, MARC, Principal, Business Manager, Pastoral Care Counsellor and a school support officer employed at the school. The school / parent partnership is strong and has positive benefits for our students.
