Villawood East is a multicultural school situated in the Bankstown District. We have 12 classroom teachers and 8 support teachers. Our 300 students come from diverse cultural backgrounds, mainly Arabic and Vietnamese.

Students with learning difficulties are supported by a variety of specialist teachers, implementing programs to meet their special needs. Year 1 students have access to Reading Recovery. Support Teacher Learning Difficulties works with small groups. The three English as Second Language teachers work with all children from language backgrounds other than English in team teaching situations. Children whose first language is Arabic or Vietnamese participate in Community Language Programs.
